Trick Eye Museum at Sentosa 【圣淘沙特丽爱3D美术馆】

Who says that there is nothing fun to do in Singapore? One thing I know is that I had plenty of fun at Trick Eye Museum in Sentosa last Friday.

我在圣淘沙的特丽爱3D美术馆度过了难忘的“五”后（因为是周五去的！）我只能说，有了特丽爱，欢乐跟着来！~

Trick Eye is short for ‘Trick of the eye’. It refers to an art technique that turns 2D paintings into 3D images through the use of optical illusions. With that, 2D paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings appear to pop out of the surface and come to life.

对我来说，这间美术馆的平面画可以说是“深藏不漏”。简简单单的艺术品在人类的陪衬下，3D效果立即变得明显。原来艺术品也会骗人呀！

I attended the event together with my sister, Alicia who used to be an Art Elective Programme (AEP) student. You can imagine how thrilled she was taking photos with these art pieces she once studied in school.

之前到Alive Museum的时候，姐姐原本要跟着一起去，但是最终没有出席。这一次，姐姐终于体验了3D艺术馆了。很多作品是她在学生时期读过的噢 （因为她是美术特选课程的学生）， 难怪她那么兴奋。:)

The artworks at Trick Eye Museum are grouped into 6 themed zones. Let me introduce these 6 areas to you. 🙂

六大区块，一一为你介绍。

【World of Masterpieces 名画世界】

This is the first area that you would be exploring when you enter Trick Eye Museum. The exhibits here allow you to become part of the masterpieces.

I love elephants! If you are wondering how I manage to climb so high, you’ve got to be there to unravel the mystery. ^^

3D艺术馆挺考验演技的！但是，要扮熊猫一点都不难。最近忙着工作又要写部落格，我的熊猫眼越来越严重了。哭~

It is good to have long hair right? It adds to the effect. 🙂

话说，我的头发成了我的道具呢！效果还算不错吧？

Rare chance to be able to skydive in Singapore! This one looks pretty real! 🙂

Star of Circus = Clown? Oh well, fine.

好吧，我就当一天的马戏团之星，爱旅游的小丑。

【Dreams of Fairy Tale 童话梦国】

As the name suggests, the next few photos are filled with white fluffy clouds. If only I could fly up to the moon and feel the clouds. ❤

【Love in Winter冬季恋歌】

While sis and I were making our way to this “Love in Winter” zone, I was distracted by this random guy who was taking photos and he turned out to be one of the exhibits – thanks, seriously. I was wondering why he doesn’t move at all.

又是一个不能动的帅哥。 *叹气*

And, I decided to join him – feels like a paparazzi. 🙂

好像狗仔队hor? 但是，旁边的那位先生，请问你究竟在拍什么呢？

【Adventure Discovery 惊险奇程】

I like how Trick Eye Museum is designed. There will certainly be at least one exhibit that you like in each zone. Which means, surprises at every turn. 🙂

The Horse Racing and Merlion Boat exhibits below are specially designed for Trick Eye Museum Singapore.

入乡随俗，这里有赛马和鱼尾狮耶！

My sis’ ballerina photo is really nice. Her pose and her dress work well for this picture.

穿对衣服也很重要。如果想要有美美的照片，就要选对衣服。

Overall, we finished exploring all 100 paintings and optical illusion installations within 1 hour and 10 mins. I really love how all these art works are so spaced out such that you wouldn’t get into other people’s photos. Also, the artworks are very well-maintained so it makes the photos look prettier.

我们在1小时10分钟内看完了馆内的100件展示品。途中拍了超多照片的，也笑到很口渴。X .  X

我喜欢特丽爱宽敞的空间 — 即使当天有很多部落客在场，但是不会有白目的人出现在你的照片哦。还有，这些艺术作品的“状况”都挺优的！色彩鲜艳，没有严重破损的现象。这样一来，要拍摄漂亮的照片就得心应手了！~

Other than the fact that it is located off-island in Sentosa, which means you’ve got to spend time travelling there, Trick Eye Museum will be a good place to visit with your friends and family.

Note: There’s a public holiday coming up soon! This will be a great time to have some bonding with your loved ones  through these fun artworks – you don’t have to be under the sweltering sun too! ❤

特丽爱唯一的缺点就是地点不太方便。因为它在圣淘沙，所以需要一些时间才能抵达。但是，这里太好玩了。你一定不能错过！公定假日要来了。如果你还没有任何计划，那你可以跟家人好友一起来这里。在这里玩了之后还可以到附近的马来西亚美食街享用美食（哈，我好像在打广告！但是那里的沙煲饭超好吃的！）。
