There are many places to dine at within the Bukit Timah area. I recently made a discovery that the food court at Botanic Gardens has been changed to a restaurant instead. (Hope I am not too lag!) That restaurant is none other than FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
Enter via Tanglin gate and it is located at basement one. Look, there is a kid’s area just outside and it seems pretty new. 🙂
One thing I like about this restaurant is its spaciousness. It offers adequate space for you to chill on a tired weekday or on a relaxing weekend and you can just take a walk at the Botanic Gardens after dining here. However, you need to order and pay at the cashier so don’t expect someone to walk to the table to take your orders.
A little deco on the table with a label that reads ‘Taste the good life’. This is what we all ought to do. Slow down the pace of life and taste the things that are coming. So philosophical!
This restaurant serves all day breakfast, good for foodies like me who is crazy about healthy breakfasts. I was there in the evening and I decided to order their house breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, bacon, butter toast, hash browns and roasted tomato salad.
Here’s a photo of the House Breakfast ($14) which I had as my dinner.
You can even customize your own breakfast by adding bacon, chicken sausage and pancakes! 🙂
This is the Creamy Pesto Chicken Linguine ($16) that my mum and Jj had. It comes with eggplant, zucchini and roasted tomatoes. I still prefer the pasta I had at Ambush though. Tastes more special as compared to this.
This restaurant also serves cakes.
One important thing to mention: Food For Thought is known for the causes that it promotes. Currently, they are raising funds in conjunction with the World Water Day and Earth Day. Funds will be used to build a well under Living Water International.

Good to read that one of their other brachs is also good. I blogged about the 8Q one today and you can see that the all day breakfasts are the same:
