After attending a food tasting event at Fullhouse Signature in Clarke Quay, I was so excited to be able to attend another event at Blisshouse Theme Restaurant located in The Central, just a distance away from Fullhouse Signature.
At first, I thought that they were operating under the same company but it seems that these two “houses” are un-related entities. But both of them have very nice dining ambience. 🙂
So, this was the event that I attended at Blisshouse — Elle Live & Dream in Hope with Philosophy. (Pardon me for the low resolution in the photos below. All of them were taken with my iphone 5.)
The restaurant has a similar Victorian style concept as Fullhouse Signature. However, as it is located in The Central itself, it is more accessible. You don’t have to walk out from the shopping mall in the sweltering heat. But there are more photo ops available in Fullhouse as the restaurant is much bigger and there are more decorations. Pros and cons here and there.
Anyway, this event was orgnised by Elle for Philosophy, a popular skincare brand from US. I have tried the Philosophy chemical peel pads before and I found them quite good so I believe that these products do work. The pricing of their products is quite reasonable too. Cheaper if you get them from the airport, as compared to getting them at Sephora.
They have a Christmas collection coming up. I’m sure girls would love to receive Philosophy products as gifts! 🙂
We all went home with a goodie bag after the event and there are various products like ‘Hope in a jar’ (moisturiser) and ‘Eye Hope’ (eye cream for dark circles, puffiness and lines). Have yet to try them out but I am definitely looking forward to seeing the magic that they can create.
Here are the Philosophy outlets in Singapore:
1) Bugis Junction #01-16
2) Tangs Orchard Level One Counter
3) Also available in all Sephora branches
